About:
Telista 40mg Tablet 15s is an ARB antihypertensive containing telmisartan 40mg. It is used to treat high blood pressure and protect against heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

Usage Instructions
Take one tablet once daily, with or without food, at a fixed time as advised by your doctor. Swallow whole with water and continue long term for sustained blood pressure control.

Benefits
Effectively lowers blood pressure and can improve cardiovascular outcomes when combined with lifestyle measures. May also be used in some patients with heart failure or diabetic kidney disease.

How it Works
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II at AT1 receptors, causing vasodilation and reduced aldosterone effects. This decreases systemic vascular resistance and blood pressure.

Side Effects
Dizziness, fatigue, low blood pressure, or elevated potassium can occur. Rarely, kidney function may worsen; regular tests are recommended.

Safety Advice
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor about all other medicines, especially NSAIDs, diuretics, or lithium.
