AboutTigelor 90 Tablet contains ticagrelor (90 mg), a P2Y12 platelet inhibitor used with aspirin to prevent blood clots and reduce cardiovascular events in patients with acute coronary syndrome (heart attack or unstable angina) or history of myocardial infarction.Usage InstructionsTake exactly as prescribed by your cardiologist, usually 90 mg twice daily (morning and evening), with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Do not stop suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this increases risk of heart attack or stroke. Take with aspirin (75-100 mg daily) unless contraindicated.Benefits- Prevents blood clot formation in coronary arteries- Reduces risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death- Reversible P2Y12 inhibitor with rapid onset and offset- Used in acute coronary syndrome and post-MI patients- Superior to clopidogrel in certain high-risk patients- Dual antiplatelet therapy with aspirinHow it WorksTicagrelor reversibly binds to P2Y12 receptors on platelets, blocking ADP-mediated platelet activation and aggregation, thereby preventing thrombus formation in coronary arteries.Side EffectsCommon: Bleeding (minor: bruising, nosebleeds; major: gastrointestinal, intracranial), shortness of breath (dyspnoea), headache, dizziness, nausea.
