AboutToira 5mg Tablet contains Tolvaptan, a vasopressin V2 receptor antagonist for treating hyponatremia (low blood sodium) associated with heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or SIADH.Usage Instructions: Take once daily with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Take at same time each day. Maintain adequate fluid intake.Benefits: Increases blood sodium levels, treats hyponatremia effectively, reduces fluid overload, improves symptoms of low sodium, convenient oral dosing.How it Works: Tolvaptan blocks vasopressin V2 receptors in kidney collecting ducts, promoting free water excretion (aquaresis) without electrolyte loss, correcting sodium levels.Side Effects: Thirst, dry mouth, increased urination, dizziness, fatigue, rare: liver injury, rapid sodium correction, dehydration, hypotension.Safety Advice: Monitor sodium levels closely.
