AboutTOLVAHIKE 15 Tablet contains Tolvaptan 15mg, a vasopressin receptor antagonist for treating hyponatremia and autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD).Usage Instructions: Take once daily in the morning with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Maintain adequate fluid intake. Take at same time each day.Benefits: Treats hyponatremia, increases free water excretion, raises serum sodium, slows kidney cyst growth in ADPKD, improves fluid balance.How it Works: Tolvaptan blocks vasopressin V2 receptors in kidney collecting ducts, promoting aquaresis (water excretion without electrolyte loss).Side Effects: Thirst, dry mouth, increased urination, constipation, fatigue, elevated liver enzymes, hypernatremia, dehydration.Safety Advice: Monitor serum sodium and liver function regularly. Avoid grapefruit products. Ensure access to fluids. Not for use in anuric patients or severe liver disease. Report liver injury symptoms immediately.Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place.
