AboutTrezcold Tablet is a combination medicine containing Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine, and Caffeine used to relieve symptoms of common cold, flu, allergic rhinitis, and upper respiratory tract infections.Usage Instructions: Take one tablet every 6-8 hours as needed, or as directed by your doctor. Swallow whole with water. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Take with or without food. Avoid alcohol. Do not use for more than 5-7 days without medical advice.Benefits: Provides comprehensive relief from cold and flu symptoms including fever, headache, body aches, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and sinus pressure. Reduces inflammation, relieves pain, decreases mucus production, and counteracts drowsiness.How it Works: Paracetamol inhibits COX enzymes in CNS, reducing prostaglandin synthesis (antipyretic and analgesic). Phenylephrine is an alpha-1 adrenergic agonist causing nasal vasoconstriction (decongestant). Chlorpheniramine blocks H1 histamine receptors (antihistamine). Caffeine antagonizes adenosine receptors, reducing drowsiness and enhancing analgesic effect.Side Effects: Common: drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, nervousness, restlessness, insomnia, headache. Serious: severe allergic reactions, liver damage (with overdose), hypertension, palpitations, urinary retention, blood disorders, severe skin reactions.Safety Advice: Do not exceed recommended dose (risk of liver failure).
