AboutTryptokart Tablet contains Tryptophan or Amitriptyline (based on naming convention), used to treat depression, anxiety, neuropathic pain, migraine prevention, and sleep disorders.Usage Instructions: Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily at bedtime. Swallow whole with water. May be taken with or without food. Take consistently at the same time daily. Therapeutic effect may take 2-4 weeks. Do not stop suddenly.Benefits: Treats depression, anxiety disorders, neuropathic pain, migraine prophylaxis, insomnia, and chronic pain conditions. Improves mood, sleep quality, and pain perception. Enhances serotonin and norepinephrine activity in the brain.How it Works: If Amitriptyline: Tricyclic antidepressant that inhibits reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, increasing their availability in synaptic cleft. Also blocks histamine H1, muscarinic, and alpha-1 adrenergic receptors (sedative and anticholinergic effects). If Tryptophan: Essential amino acid precursor to serotonin, enhancing serotonin synthesis and improving mood and sleep.Side Effects: Common: drowsiness, dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, urinary retention, weight gain, dizziness, increased appetite. Serious: cardiac arrhythmias, QT prolongation, seizures, serotonin syndrome, suicidal ideation (especially in young adults), urinary retention, angle-closure glaucoma, blood disorders.Safety Advice: Do not stop abruptly (withdrawal symptoms). Avoid alcohol. Use caution in heart disease, glaucoma, prostate enlargement, or seizure disorders. May take 2-4 weeks for full effect. Monitor for mood changes or suicidal thoughts. Inform doctor of chest pain, irregular heartbeat, severe dizziness, or difficulty urinating. Not for use in acute recovery phase after MI.
