About
Ziten Tablet 15's contains Teneligliptin 20mg. This is an oral anti-diabetic medicine used with diet and exercise to control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes, alone or in combination with metformin. This is a prescription medicine; use only under the guidance of a registered medical practitioner.
Usage Instructions
Take one tablet once daily (or as prescribed for combinations, with meals). Swallow whole with water.
Benefits
Lowers blood sugar with a low risk of low blood sugar episodes and is weight neutral.
How it Works
It blocks the DPP-4 enzyme, raising incretin hormones that increase insulin release after meals and reduce liver sugar output.
Side Effects
Common: headache, stuffy nose, stomach upset, nausea (more with metformin). Rare: pancreatitis, joint pain, allergic reaction.
Safety Advice
Report severe stomach pain to your doctor. Dose adjustment may be needed in kidney disease. Not for type 1 diabetes. Monitor blood sugar regularly.
Storage
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
